Patient Details
This is a patient who had a removal of basal cell carcinoma from Mohs surgery. I performed a staged forehead flap reconstruction, which can take three stages at least. The first stage is to bring down the forehead flap, and then one to two months later, a division of the flap.
Once it is divided, defatting of the flap is performed. This can take several surgeries to thin it, and make it more aesthetic. This patient was very happy with just one defatting surgery.
